- How to use window door screen tape: Clean the repair part and trim the edges of the holes if necessary, keep it dry; then measure the size of the tear or hole and cut out a larger size of the tape; take off the backing and stick the tape on the window screen, a little pressure with finger to ensure all edges are stick in place and done. Do not take it off immediately after it`s been applied; the adhesive needs time to strengthen.
